E.ON Next Solar Export Tariffs: Rates 2026

Checked 10 July 2026: E.ON Next lists three residential flat-rate export routes at 17.5p, 13p and 6p per kWh. The top rate is tied to a qualifying E.ON installation; the middle rate requires eligible E.ON import supply; the public Flex summary does not list the same import condition.

Premium v3 eligibility traps

• The installation date and installer matter.
• The public page limits the residential system to 15kW.
• The tariff is limited to one per property and does not renew.
• An older quote may carry a previous rate; E.ON says the installation quote governs.
• The rate is fixed for 12 months, but the next tariff can be different.

Which import tariffs qualify for 13p?

E.ON says Next Export Exclusive v3 requires E.ON Next import supply but excludes specified time-of-use tariffs such as Next Drive. Economy 7 and Economy 10 are treated differently in the public footnote. Confirm the exact import product before moving export.

E.ON warns that high demand can lengthen application processing. Do not assume export payments start on the application date; wait for the confirmed export account and start date.

Which E.ON route fits an existing non-E.ON system?

For equipment not installed through the qualifying E.ON route, compare Next Flex Export v1 with Next Export Exclusive v3. The 13p Exclusive option can require moving import supply and excludes the time-of-use products named by E.ON. The 6p Flex page does not state that same import requirement, so it can be the more relevant starting point where the household wants to preserve an existing import deal.

Generation reading or export reading?

E.ON asks for the smart or export-meter register, not the separate generation meter total. Generation includes solar used inside the home; export is only the electricity sent to the grid. Confusing the two can greatly overstate expected payments and can delay validation when the submitted reading is impossible for the export MPAN.
