British Gas solar export tariffs
British Gas pays different export rates depending on your system size and whether it also supplies your electricity.

British Gas export rates

| Export Premium | 12p | British Gas electricity customers with a system up to 15 kW. |
| Export Extra | 8p | British Gas electricity customers with a system over 15 kW. |
| Export SEG | 3p | Homes buying electricity from another supplier, and other eligible applicants. |
| Export VoidCare SEG | 6p | Eligible social landlords using VoidCare with a system up to 15 kW. |
These rates are variable, so they can change.
Check your system size
Use the installed capacity on your installation certificate. If it is close to 15 kW, ask British Gas which tariff applies, especially if you have added more panels.
