Solar export tariff history: dated rates and changes
See how the solar export offers we recorded compare over time, with the original files available to check.
Rates and source gaps checked: 21 October 2026. Selected suppliers; this is not a whole-market comparison. Check the supplier’s latest price and eligibility before applying. See the dated history.
Reading the dates
Observed means the day we checked a source. Effective from is used only when the supplier states when a price applies. Those dates can differ. A new offer version may affect new applicants without changing an existing fixed contract.
There is no verified observation for every past month. We will not fill those gaps with estimates. The weekly checks will build a more detailed record from now on.
What our observations show
EDF
The July dataset recorded Export 12m at 15p; the current page advertises Export 12m V2 at 13p. The Here4Solar supplier guide already recorded V2 at 13p in its 5 September editorial update. These are advertised offer observations, not proof of a change to an existing contract.
Comparison: 10 July 2026 and 6 October 2026. The supplier’s effective change date has not been established.
Pozitive Energy
A replacement official PE tariff page publishes 5p/kWh. The earlier record had no verified rate; do not describe this as a rise from zero.
Comparison: 10 July 2026 and 6 October 2026. The supplier’s effective change date has not been established.
Voltx Power
The source and structured record say 3.02p. The old page displayed 3.0p. Correcting the display is not a tariff change.
Comparison: 10 July 2026 and 6 October 2026. The supplier’s effective change date has not been established.

What a difference could mean
For illustration, a 2p/kWh difference is £40 over 2,000 exported kWh. That calculation is not a forecast: the amount exported, the applicable contract and the cost of imported electricity can all change.
