ScottishPower solar export tariffs
ScottishPower’s SmartGen tariffs pay for electricity you send to the grid. The higher rates depend on your electricity account and who installed your equipment.

ScottishPower export rates

| SmartGen Premium Plus | 15p | ScottishPower supplies your electricity and installed your solar panels, battery or both. |
| SmartGen Premium | 12p | ScottishPower supplies electricity at the property. |
| SmartGen | 6p | Standard tariff for eligible export customers; check the application requirements with ScottishPower. |
All three rates are variable, so the amount paid per unit can change.
Already a ScottishPower customer?
An electricity account meets the supply condition for Premium. Premium Plus also requires a qualifying ScottishPower installation.
What could you earn?
Exporting 2,000 kWh at 12p would earn £240. At 6p it would earn £120. ScottishPower says payments are made to your bank account every 90 days.
