The highest public flat-rate figure in this selected snapshot is Good Energy’s market-context Exclusive product. Its public conditions include qualifying equipment and matching import supply.
20p/kWh listed-supplier maximum
So Energy’s first-year solar route is the highest represented rate from a company on Ofgem’s current list. The purchase or installation condition matters.
4.1p/kWh strict-open maximum
Octopus Energy’s standalone SEG route is the highest represented rate whose public summary explicitly avoids matching-supply, tied-purchase and battery requirements.

What the snapshot can and cannot show
- It compares public flat rates using primary supplier pages checked on the same date.
- It records import-supplier, tied-installation or purchase, and battery conditions separately.
- It does not rank dynamic or time-of-use tariffs beside all-day flat rates.
- A missing public rate is a source-discoverability finding, not proof that a supplier is non-compliant.
- Removing a provider from this editorial snapshot means the dataset is selected rather than market-complete.
